droid x (un)rooting help?
Posted in SD Card Recovery on December 20th, 2010 by Andrew – 1 Commenti rooted my droid x friday night and went to install a rom, but little did i know that my camera button doesnt work anymore, so i couldnt select if i wanted to boot my phone back up, install the rom, and some other options. the only way i could get past that screen was to pull the battery, which almost made me crap myself, as i thought i was going to brick my phone. after getting past the screen i went back into z4root which i used to root my phone, and clicked the unroot option. after it was unrooted i went a deleted all the things that i downloaded for being rooted, along with anything that the apps had installed onto my sd card. now last night, my phone died, i went to plug it back in and when trying to turn it on, it brought me back up to the clockworkmod (i think that what its called) screen and gave me the options again to boot my phone, install things, etc. so i had to pull the battery, again almost crapping myself as i thought i had just been lucky the first time, but everything was ok. so, what can i do to make it stop turning onto the booting screen? unless i can fix the camera button myself, im going to have to send it back to verizon to get it fixed, and im pretty sure they wont take it once they turn it on and see recovery screen. any help would def. be appreciated.
also, anyone else having problems with their camera button not working? im not sure when it started as i never used the button to much, just went into the app. if you could help me, maybe direct me to a forum or something that could help me fix my camera, that would be good to.
when i say clockworkmod, i mean the recovery screen. i think clockworkmod is the name of some app or developer that i had for being rooted
